SANS DNS server
Latest news: SANS 1.0 has been released!
The SANS ("Simple Authoritative Name Server") server started out as a simple demonstration of the power of the Poslib DNS library, which I wrote in just a few days. It can be a primary DNS server for your domains, and that's it. It can serve zone transfers, and you can feed it DNS master files, which you can edit in real-time in the program itself, or create zone within the program itself.
Sadly enough, SANS works on Windows platforms only. The latest SANS is SANS 1.0, released on 30 December 2003.

Download SANS
This is a Windows installer. It works on Windows 95 and higher (though for Windows 95, the Winsock 2 upgrade might be nessecary). You can download the source code for this release from CVS; it is found in the CVS repositorymisc/sans, and it has the tag release-1_0. The DNS query tool is in misc/winquery.
