The Posadis DNS server

Posadis is an open-source Domain Name Server for various platforms, based on the Poslib DNS library. Posadis 0.60.5, the latest release, has the following features:

• Supports standard DNS master files, zone transfers and DNS Notify
• Supports secondary DNS using AXFR zone transfers
• Can act as a caching DNS server: supports both forwarding and resolving
• Supports 17 different RR types natively, but can cache other, unknown RR types as well.
• Has a modular structure, allowing plug-ins to implement new zone types
• Supports file monitoring, so that your master files will be re-loaded directly when you save them.
• Supports automated forward and reverse mapping using the formap module.
• Native IPv6 support.
